A new political movement with a no-name wrapping has emerged – but with people like Charlie Crist, Joe Scarborough, Bob Inglis and Michael Bloomberg on board – it’s looks like a fairly straight moderate-right initiative. Like the third way was moderate-left, with some conservative elements.
From their website the foucs is mounting debt, entitlement cost, failing schools and bad dependence on foreign oil (!). Maybe it’s a trial baloon – maybe it’s an attack on McConnell and Boehner, maybe it’s the beginning of a reformation and renewal of the Republican party – pulling a little bit towards the center-right camp. We’ll see.
