    • The US is still a player…But they have realized that Obama will sit back and watch the chess pieces move first….

      Actually I agree with his strategy since pushing the parties hasn’t done dick for last 50 years!

  2. Yep.. I think it’s moving towards some kind of major change within the year, but who knows which things and in which directions.. even if most seem to agree that september is driving the agendas and regional politics at the moment..
    And sit back, sure, why not.. playing balance-of-power is cheaper and less hurtful than playing hegemony.. just as long as we have some stability in the oil trade.. and avoid too wide-spread extremism…
