Tax Pledge waning

The political cost of refusing all sorts of increase in federal revenue seems to grow. House Reps are now starting to walk away from the infamous Tax Pledge from private citizen / lobbyist Grover Norquist.

And what kind of authority does this document have anyways? Some seem to treat it like it’s above democracy and the Constitution.

  1. Grover Norquist is a joke. He was never elected office, and probably never will be. He’s just one of the Koch Bros. underlings, and as time goes by, the people are waking up to what these guys are all about.
