Obama, After Air Attacks in Syria, Says U.S. Will ‘Take the Fight’ to ISIS – NYTimes.com

But there is an important difference this time… that this is a coalition.. It changes the propaganda war and it’s about time that other nations chip in with money and the risks of retaliation.

WASHINGTON — President Obama hailed the American-led coalition that conducted airstrikes in Syria against the Islamic State on Monday night, declaring, “We’re going to do what is necessary to take the fight to this terrorist group.”

Speaking on the South Lawn of the White House on Tuesday, just before leaving for New York City to attend the United Nations General Assembly, Mr. Obama emphasized that Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Bahrain took part in the air operation.

“America is proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with these nations on behalf of our common security,” Mr. Obama said. “The strength of this coalition makes clear to the world that this is not just America’s fight alone.”
