Buenos Aires was neither a “war zone” nor a “combat situation” after Argentina surrendered to Britain in the Falklands War, says one of Bill O’Reilly’s former colleagues
at CBS who was with him in the capital at the time.

“It was an ‘expense account zone,’” writes Eric Jon Engberg, a retired CBS correspondent, in a Facebook post.
“We — meaning the American networks — were all in the same, modern hotel and we never saw any troops, casualties or weapons.”

    • Did you see Jon Stewart about this? Defending his old pal sort of.. saying attacking O’Reilly for boasting and inaccuracies is kind of hopeless.. it’s his brand..

      I do find the aspect of social media interesting though.. things stick for a longer time. But Bill will probably sail through this.. maybe even more popular among some crowds because of his brutal frontal attacks.

      But that CNN guy is so naive it hurts! “I just want the facts!” Hello……
